These Terms govern your use of the AWSS Student portal and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.
Academic Integrity
AWSS provides reference study materials and tutoring to help you understand and complete your own coursework — study guides, worked examples, reference notes, and one-to-one guidance. We do not complete or submit graded work on your behalf.Our materials are for reference and learning; you are solely responsible for using them ethically and in accordance with your institution’s academic-integrity and honor-code policies.
1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be a student in higher education and able to form a binding agreement to use the Service. Accounts are provisioned by our admin team after you submit an interest request; you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
2. The Service
AWSS connects you with vetted subject-matter experts who provide reference study materials and guidance through secure, anonymized channels. To protect privacy, your identity and the expert’s identity are not shared with each other. Features, availability, and turnaround may change over time.
3. Fees
The portal is free to use and contains no in-app purchases. AWSS is a real-world service; any fees for tutoring or materials are arranged and paid offline, directly between you and AWSS. There is no payment processing inside the portal.
4. Acceptable use
- Use the Service and materials only for legitimate study, reference, and learning.
- Do not submit AWSS-provided materials as your own graded work where doing so would violate your institution’s policies.
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or misuse the chat.
- Do not attempt to breach security, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service.
5. User content
You retain ownership of the files and messages you submit. You grant AWSS a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the Service. Reference materials we provide are licensed to you for personal study and reference use.
6. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from within the portal (Profile → Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
7. Disclaimers & liability
The Service and materials are provided “as is” for educational and reference purposes, without warranties of any kind. AWSS is not responsible for how you use the materials, and to the maximum extent permitted by law is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
